An independent research group convened by WiserTech, applying active inference to unreliable real-world sensor data. Its fusion work stays honest about provenance, uncertainty and coverage, and runs live aboard our research vessel. The group’s interests span implicit geometric modelling, real-time predictive simulation, the epistemology of AI, and fault-tolerant distributed systems.

Plan routes, navigate complex waters and dock with confidence using three integrated applications — Voyage to plan, Horizon to navigate, Berth to dock — with Wiser, an onboard AI assistant, interpreting conditions in real time. This software grew directly from our peer-reviewed augmented-reality sailing research, translating academic findings into practical onboard tools.
