It emerged from an augmented-reality marine visualisation research project at the University of Victoria, developed alongside the Royal Victoria Yacht Club and the Coast Capital Innovation Centre, and was founded by Ed Wisernig, PhD. Today the studio holds a family of five equal-standing ventures, each operating independently while sharing a common engineering backbone.<\/p>\n<h2>One idea<\/h2>\n<p>We fuse scattered marine truth into one honest, immersive picture. Every product and paper in the family shares this single objective: replace assumption with measurement, and deliver clarity where the water demands it.<\/p>\n<h2>SV Endurance<\/h2>\n<p>Our shared platform is an instrumented, off-grid, solar-powered research sailing vessel operating in the Salish Sea, carrying electro-optical, acoustic, radio-frequency and environmental sensors with edge computing aboard.
